About Us


Renaissance was founded in 1997 with the aim of designing, building and managing luxury retirement developments that were simply better than the standard developments being produced across the country at the time.

Due to rapid expansion we require a chartered or soon to be chartered planner to join our planning team at the head office in Ringwood.

The Role

You will assess new sites for development potential, checking planning constraints with local authorities and providing reports to land teams.

Communication skills are vital to this role, as you will liaise with various internal and external teams such as local authorities, land owners, solicitors, external consultants, parish/town councils, and resident groups.

You will take responsibility for your own projects and assist senior members of the team in the preparation of a range of planning applications, and appeals.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.00pm. Please be aware that the position will occasionally require work to be done outside of normal working hours and this will be expected where necessary.

Profile

You will need to be, or soon be a chartered member of the RTPI and ideally, have between 2+ years’ experience in either the private or public sector.

You must be self-motivated and a team player. You will also need to be a good oral and written communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills.

The holding of a full UK driving licence is essential.
