Record sales month for retirement flats in Wokingham

Renaissance Retirement has recorded its best sales performance in a month at its new development in Wokingham.

The company has sold an impressive 18 apartments off plan in the month of March which equates to over £8.9m in value.

Over 55% per cent of its apartments have now been sold off plan since it started selling in February this year.

Construction work at the prime site in Wokingham is on schedule for occupation later in the year says developers Renaissance Retirement.

The 33 luxury apartments, which will be known as Fleur de Lis, are being built on Wiltshire Road and have already sparked a unpresented interest from buyers says the company.

The luxurious properties will provide an exceptional standard of independent living for those considering downsizing from a larger family home.

Located five minutes' walk from the centre of town, the spacious one and two bedroom apartments will be impeccably finished with contemporary interiors, whilst owners will also have access to an owners' lounge and guest suite, which will be available to visiting friends and relatives.

Some of the apartments will also feature stylish mezzanine levels providing up to 1500 sq ft of living space.

Prices range from £360,000 for a one bed to £680,000 for a two bed mezzanine.

Interested buyers are now being encouraged to get in touch to avoid disappointment.

Matt Smith, sales manager at Renaissance Retirement, comments: "It's a hugely encouraging start and shows the demand for this type of luxury flats for the over 60s."

Matt added: "We believe we have the number one location for retirement living in Wokingham. It's a stunning site and the apartments will be a very high specification and finish."

Renaissance Retirement has a distinguished history; the company was handpicked by HRH Prince of Wales to build a landmark collection of retirement apartments in the heart of Poundbury, Dorchester.
