Over £2m of apartments sold at Fleur-de-Lis Haywards Heath Grand Opening

Over £2m of top end retirement apartments were sold in two days by Renaissance Retirement when the company opened the doors to the public at its Haywards Heath development.

Over 60 people attended the company’s grand opening with five apartments reserved over the weekend.

The development, built on the former magistrates’ court on Bolnore Road, is now over 50 per cent sold. Comprising 34 one and two bed apartments, some featuring mezzanine floors, the company has been attracting a wide range of interested buyers.

Fleur-de-Lis Haywards Heath has already sold one apartment measuring 1,875 sq ft for £695,000.

The building’s design was inspired by Charles Voysey - the famous English architect and designer who pioneered the ‘Arts & Crafts’ look.

Renaissance Retirement’s sales manager Matt Smith said: “It’s a very encouraging start. We are now 50% sold out and ten owners have already moved into the development. It’s an exciting time for people having this choice of size of apartment and location.”

Matt added: “There is very strong interest in Haywards Heath for good quality retirement apartments. Our sales message is clear – ‘Who says you need to downsize when you want to move out of the family home?’ With apartments up to 1,875 sq ft, which is the size of a big three bed house, we have some very spacious apartments on sale.”

Renaissance Retirement claims it’s responding to the market with its development which offers bigger, more spacious retirement flats.

The luxurious properties will provide an exceptional standard of independent living for those considering downsizing from a larger family home.

The spacious one and two bedroom apartments are impeccably finished with contemporary interiors, whilst owners also have access to an owners' drawing room and landscaped gardens.

Nick Watkins, Development Director at Renaissance Retirement, added:  “We believe we have the number one location for retirement in Haywards Heath. It’s a stunning development and the apartments are a very high specification and finish. Naturally we’ve had a very strong interest for the apartments and we are urging potential buyers to get in touch to view the apartments.”

Estate agents Mansell McTaggart is supporting Renaissance with its sales. Prices start from £310,000 for a one bed apartment and £410,000 for a two bed apartment.
