Construction work officially starts on Renaissance Retirement ‘stunning’ apartments in Sandhurst

Renaissance Retirement has officially marked the start of construction at the company's luxury retirement development in Sandhurst.

Renaissance Retirement is putting into place its plans to re-develop the former Jolly Farmer pub into 42 one and two bedroom retirement apartments. The development will also boast underground parking and a tea room. It's likely to be completed in spring 2018.

Robert Taylor, managing director, Renaissance Retirement, said: "We are finally under way. This is very good news for many local people who will be looking to downsize into a stunning new development in centre of Sandhurst. We've had a number of very encouraging enquiries already and it's a good time to register.

"Sandhurst is a delightful town and we feel privileged to be part of the very fabric of it going forward. We think this site is perfect for retired people who live in and around Sandhurst. It will also free up many family sized homes in the area which are much needed in the second hand housing stock."

Robert added: "The spacious one and two bedroom apartments will be impeccably finished with contemporary interiors, whilst owners will also have access to a lounge and guest suite, which will be available to visiting friends and relatives."
